This is the work i’ve been making for our latest brief.
After a lot of deliberating i got drawing, drawing just to get my mind working. Somewhere in that i decided to make a small book called ‘THE FIRST MAN: metaphorically//metaphysically speaking’
I was pleased at the word play and the fun of it, and have been really enjoying making this work, with a new approach to drawing. Looking to Giotto’s paintings and compositions as well as trying some new techniques and materials.
Once scanned these images change quite a bit in the way the colour and texture is represented, but i like them. I just have to go in on thursday and make a book out of them.
